Replacement keyboard for MacBook Pro A1989 13-inch with Touch Bar (2018 to 2019 models). Features Apple’s butterfly switch mechanism \u2013 a thinner key design with reduced travel compared to traditional scissor switches. US English layout with full key set included. This model includes the Touch Bar above the keyboard and integrated Touch ID sensor. The butterfly mechanism uses V-shaped stainless steel components instead of the traditional X-shaped scissor structure. Note: This keyboard design was subject to Apple’s service program for key sticking or repeat character issues. Replacement requires full top case disassembly as the keyboard is riveted in place. Professional installation required.
